The love of farming began for founder Abby McNitt on her grandparents' dairy farm in Amery, Wisconsin. It was a childhood spent learning from the land, tending the garden, and chasing clouded sulfur butterflies under the summer sun— an image that later inspired the name for Cloudless Farm.

Abby’s passion grew while working at a local vegetable farm, where she discovered her calling: to grow and nurture the land, strengthening the local food system one small plot at a time.

In 2023, Abby and her partner Derreck started Cloudless Farm with humble beginnings and full hearts. We are so grateful to be part of a community that values local farmers, and we will continue to provide high quality specialty offerings that can be hard to find at markets.
